Before you hire a driveway installer

Get a written quote that says what the driveway is made of, how deep the base will be, how the water will drain away and who takes the old surface away. Ask what the guarantee covers and for how long.

Be wary of anyone who knocks on your door with leftover materials from a job nearby and a price that's only good for today. A good installer will happily show you photos of driveways they've finished.
